He was the American representative at the amateur go world championships. He in lives New York and often plays on Internet. He seems very friendly with another high level amateur American player.

Amateur from the Netherlands

He was Dutch representative at the amateur go world championships. He often plays on Internet. He is an assisting professor but he would like to live thanks to go, his passion and to open a go club. He has several pupils with whom he teaches go.

AOKI

Go player at Kaio Junior High school. He is quite nice. He was third board before Akira Toya's arrival and lost his place in the team 'cause Akira is a thousand times stronger than him.

Young Chinese professional player who speaks Japanese extremely well. He invits Isumi to share his room in China. He is also the manager of the Chinese team at the Hokuto cup.

Young pro player, he succeeds Koyo Toya for the title of Meijin.

HIDAKA

She is a go player at Kaïo 's club of go. She has a strong personality and she takes the defense of Akira.

The teacher of Hikaru. She seems nice and likes suprised history tests.

Insei of class 1. He attends the progression of Hikaru, he seems rather friendly with Nase.

Second captain of the korean team at the Hokuto cup, he is famous to be the most offensive.

Hideki ISOBE

Small brat who gained the Meijin junior tournament and who comes to defy Akira. He lost in a few minutes....

Shinichiro ISUMI

The oldest and best Insei, Hikaru and Waya's friend.

Joueur professionnel qui sermonne Hikaru pour avoir interrompu la partie entre les deux enfants aux tournoi junior. Hikaru le retrouve alors qu'il passe l'examen, pro car celui-ci remplace Maître Shinoda.

Surveillant du collège Haze. Il poursuit souvent Kaga pour le disputer.

He is a taxi driver and a customer from the go center Hikaru always goes on.

He represent Korea at world amateur championships. He was charged by his Master who was beaten by Sai on Internet, to inquir in Japan.

He is Kaio's first captain.

He is a customer in Toya Meijin's go center. He is a great fan of Akira and doesn't seem to like Hikaru.

This young pupil join the Haze go club and does everything to carry on this club after Mitani, Akari and the others left.

Pupil from Kaio junior high school, he is a member of the go club. He was in the plot to humiliate Akira Toya and make him leave the go club.

Insei from classe 1, he is good friend with Waya.

He is a young journalist at Go Weekly which and he covers the Hokuto Cup. It is him which brings back the remarks of Yongha to Hikaru.
