Saeki is a secondary character, he is one of the new generation and belong to Morishita-sensei group. He put the surroundings in the group and is an attractive character thanks to his protector's part.

The lively companion of Morishita's study group.

Saeki is a jovial young man who seems to enjoy life. Hikaru's innocent reflexions make him smile easily and sometimes he says some humoristics allusions to relax the atmosphere. Contrary to Waya, Saeki doesn't hesitate to say what he thinks of a situation when he is in front of Morishita-sensei and laught of his impetuositys. He loves tease his master like talk about Toya's clan. Morishita-sensei doesn't walk, he runs, unfortunately for Waya!

The big brother of the youngsters.

Saeki is young but he is older than Waya et Hikaru. Redy to help, he doesn't hesitate to counsellor, to ecourage the youngers for make them ease. He plays less his "big brother's" role with Waya because this last one is considered like a son by their master. So, his protector's part look back to Hikaru. He helps him to be spotted during the first oteai, invites Hikaru to eat with him and his friends, he trys to reassure him. In the mean-time, his mischievous's part come back quickly and, like a big brother, he teases kindly Hikaru.

Ashiwara's compulsory rival.

Saeki is a quiet person, even shy sometimes. His mind is less competitor than Hikaru or Waya in appearance. In the mean-time, Morishita-sensei's rivality with Toya's clan force him to be Aishiwara's rival, one of Toya Meijin's disciple who have the same trip, but it seems that Saeki doesn't really want this. It seems that Saeki has a lot of friends in go. But, in front of Ashiwara, he losts all his means. Why? There is more between they? We can wonder this...
