Morishita is professional go players of Japan. With Meijn Touya they are the same age. He is a very good player (9 dan) even if he hadn't won a major title. He also manages a study group.

We discover him during the go international tournament, where he asks Waya to play against the participants to train them. And after we recover him when Hikaru, who was inseÏ, is invited by Waya to a session with his study group.

A shagged man.

Even if he likes shrill, he is also a good men. He is sometimes curt, sometimes hot-temper. He seems to be easily restive but his nature passionate makes him very likable.

The 'official' teacher.

He stretches Hikaru sharpening his rivalry against Akira. He gives to him a lot of counsel and he substitutes a little Sai as a teacher.

He likes thinking that Toya Meijin is his contender, who became a professional in the same times than him (even if this rivalry seems to be present only for the 'Morishita's clan'). As a consequence he hates the 'Touya's clan' and he cheer Hikaru to become Akira's contender.

Waya is a student of Morishita for a long time, and he seems to be like a father for him. He often repeats that Waya is his favorite student. In his study group we recover also Saeki and Shirakawa.

A little anecdote ?

He had two children rather old: one boy who is in the university and a girl more young than Waya but who seems to appreciate him a lot. No one of us play at go, that makes him lose hope.
