Fuku is one of the Insei Hikaru met at the Go insitute. He is younger than him. He's a good go player in classe 1 but he used to play fast and doesn't think enough. He is an instinctive guy and he seems to play go as a recreation.
We discovered him when Akira passed the pro exam. He had to play against Akira but he thought he'd already lost before the match has started.

Always in a good mood.

I like this character very much ! He is always inattentive, not very serious and definitely different from the other Insei. He is very funny. His real name is 'Fukui' but Waya called him 'Fuku'.

Waya's nightmare.

He is easy to get on with other and he is good friend with Waya. But Waya rarely managed to win against Fuku even if he had a lower level. It's perhaps because of the disordered and instinctive play of the young boy.

Serial looser.

He is young and we can hope for him he'll success one day. But in the manga, we can see him failing three times… Others would be discouraged but Fuku seems to be an eternal optimistic.
