The Go Institute is the central places of the manga. It is the place where Insei have their class and where the matches of the professionals proceed. Takeshi Obata endeavoured to accurately reproduce it in his drawings.

- The room of profound darkness -

It is a particular atmosphere place, reserved for the most important games (titles). But it's there too that the first matches of all the new pros who oppose them to an experienced pro, takes place

There too, the place is just like the photography.

It is a small modern and pleasant house with a clear frontage. Hikaru's room is on the first floor.

A little guided trip of the kitchen, the bathroom and the toilets! lol We will have shown you everything !

- Hikaru's room -

It is a modern room of spoiled teenager. Hikaru has got all comfort. Television, hi-fi system... We even find a refrigerator there!

At Toya's house, it is rather traditionnal. Akira has a computer but we can see that his desk is very simply arranged (and then it is very clean compared to Hikaru's room!).

Ogata's apartment is like his owener: modern, classy, very well arranged. We can find many books, a computer, a desk and... a large aquarium!

This is the High school where Hikaru goes. Nothing special to say, It looks like a High school.
